2021 NHRA US Nationals
It's Indy and that's all that you really need to say.
Home court for the DSR team and always a busy 4-5 days. The team made the long 25-minute drive from the shop in Brownsburg to the track at Indy with some lessons learned from the Topeka outing.
Suspension work was on the list as well as settling the tune down and allowing the HP to work itself out.
Indy is basically an all run field which meant that one qualifying pass was all we needed to run on Sunday, but we wanted more than that.Weather rolling in meant we had to make sure that every pass counted.
Qualifying put us in 10th at 7.96 and 176.79 MPH which was also the top speed for the entire field. with 22 cars in the field, we qualified higher than 16 which was our goal.
With limited qualifiers due to weather, we rolled into Sunday and eliminations.
Our first run on a Sunday put us up against Leah for a little Dodge on Dodge or DSR on DSR crime depending on how you look at it.
We were a little late on the tree and were out in Rd1 by .006 at the big end.
